Another (tiny) Man in my life to Love!

It was so much fun to surprise my best friend Melissa. I flew to the other end of Australia the day after she'd had her beautiful baby boy. It was worth it just to see the look on her face when I surprised her by walking into her hospital room (after which she burst into tears!). It was magical being able to share that special time with her. Here we are with her new (un-named son) when he was one day old.

Only a small number of times each century do we have 2 full moons in the one month. The second is said to be a blue moon. Here's a photo the night I held my special Blue Moon Teleseminar - we had thousands of people around the world join in and set their intention at this magical time for creating.

No Sex but LOTS of City!

Went to a publicity event in New York and took my beautiful daughter Danielle to experience the Big Apple. Went shopping, ate bagels, caught taxis everywhere, went to the top of the Empire State building and saw the Broadway Show 'Wicked' (if you get a chance you MUST see it, definitely the BEST show I've ever seen!). We were so excited as we were getting closer and closer to crossing the bridge onto Manhattan Island. Here's the view from the back seat of the taxi.

Here's Danielle - in love with New York! Here she is with her Marc Jacob goodies, her Chanel bag (which we bought from a man in the street, just before he packed up shop at the speed of lightening because the police were coming - of course it's fake, but it LOOKS fabulous!) and of course the I LOVE NY top.

We even did a 'Sex and the City' Tour - Danielle just LOVES Carrie (and dresses like her too). Here we are drinking a Cosmo at Steve and Aidan's bar - complete with a VERY cute bartender!

I Magically Manifested My Private Oasis

Yeeahh - moved into my beautiful paradise. Only 6 minutes from my favorite beach - 2 lush acres, with a divine spring fed dam in the middle surrounded by natural bushland. I am so grateful for my own oasis. Here's me (the dot with the red jacket on) so excited by my beautiful backyard.

I even have kangaroos lounging in my back yard. And for those of you in other countries this is NOT a common occurance. We don't have kangaroos jumping down the street (or even in our back yards). This is an EXCITING and unusual thing - and I just LOVE it!! They usually come over every day to dine on my yummy green grass. It's a bit hard to see, but can you spot the tiny joey poking it's head out of it's mothers pouch?

Here's a view of the inside of my lovely home looking toward the dining room. When I first walked into the house I just KNEW I had to have it. It was so unusual, not your ordinary home at all.

And here's a view in the early morning looking toward one of my fireplaces. Check out the bright colours and the massive wooden beams which were recycled from a huge wharf over the river in Brisbane.

Here's the view from the entry looking down the stairs and out across the back yard. I just love it! The thing I really love, is all the artifacts I've collected as I travelled around the world (like hand woven rugs from Peru, Arabian jewellry from Dubai and antique crosses from Mexico) all go perfectly in my home. It's like it's been waiting for me to buy it.

I spend a lot of time in my out door area, just gazing at my oasis and feeling so blessed. I also take my laptop out here and try to work (between gazing at the dam, listening to the birds and watching the kangaroos). It's just SO relaxing.

Was invited to appear on a new national womens show 'Catch Up' talking about The Law of Attraction. Here's me getting full makeup for TV, I felt like a star!

Fabulously Fun February!

How thrilled was I when the editor of one of Australia's leading womens magazines flew up to interview me for an article in New Idea - here I am with the article and my 'best buddy' Oprah.

How exciting... I bought my own beautiful home. Since I moved out of my dream home (the one I talk about in How to Be Wildly Wealthy FAST), I've rented house after house. As the years progressed and my income increased, the houses became more and more lovely. However nothing beats owning your OWN home which you know is yours forever. Here's me after the house contract was signed (I felt like a stalker after that 'cos I used to drive past it every day, slowing down as I got closer - couldn't wait to move in!)

In February my online business broke an all time record - I generated over $400,000 (that's for ONE MONTH). I cried with joy when I found out. Just so you know, that is almost 4 times what I usually make in a month, so I was just blown away by such a massive amount. To celebrate I surprised the girls by getting a super stretch limo and took the girls to lunch. Here we are in front of the loooooong limo!

We created a stir at my favorite juice bar - Raw Energy - when we drove up in the stretch limo. I'm sure everyone was expecting someone famous! Here's my girls - Kate (Dispatch), Harri (Customer Service), me (Wildly Wealthy Web Woman) and Regi (Admin), Remember, it was only just over 4 years ago that I was $100,000 in debt and on welfare. I still pinch myself sometimes.

A Busy Start to a Wonderful Year

Was a bit of a sad start to the year. Silly me didn't realise how much little Bailey meant to me until he was gone. Just tried to get through one day at a time.

Here's me and my beautiful daughter Danielle - we're at the world famous Woodford Folk Festival. A super cool event that runs for 7 days between Christmas and New Year that attracts thousands of people - mostly alternative hippy types which is exactly what I am at heart so I fit in perfectly! Was invited to fly to LA to celebrate the launch of Mark Victor Hansens new publishing House. Met some amazing people, including Dr. Michael Beckwith from The Secret.

Here's me at my first Wildly Wealthy Web Secrets event with all the excited attendees. I loved sharing everything I knew about creating a wildly successful on-line business. It's been turned into an information packed homestudy course - if you want to know more go to WildlyWealthyWebSecrets.com

Sad Farewell to My Beautiful Bailey

Last Christmas when my daughter Danielle said "I'm getting a dog" I was determined she was NOT. However she's just as determined as me, and sure enough 6 week old Bailey - a toy Pomeranian - arrived at our home a week later - here he is the day after he landed on my doorstep.

A tiny ball of fluff, - he could fit in one hand - he was hard not to like. I did my best not to get attached, after all I'd decided Danielle was either going to sell him, or move out with him as I did NOT want a dog. With my kids finally being quite independant, and all the travelling I love to do, he seemed like too much of a responsibility at this liberating time of my life.

Danielle's world consists of friends, working and Uni, so Bailey was usually with me all day every day. From the start, he decided to love me to bits. But I was going to be strong - I reminded myself he was going, and I was not going to fall in love with him.

But that little fluff ball persisted, he followed me around and just loved me and loved me and loved me until... I couldn't help but fall in love with that cute little bundle of fur with personality plus.

I miss him laying under my desk as I worked all day. Here he is beneath the fax machine - supposedly sleeping. However, the second I moved away, he'd be up - bright eyed and bushy tailed wanting to know where we were going and what we were doing!

He loved living on this island - in fact I think he thought he owned it. He'd run around on the vacant block opposite our house chasing butterflies, barking at nothing, getting covered in weird sticky grass, sticks and burrs and generally having a ball. You probably can't see them, but here he is COVERED in tiny green sticky seeds (which take ages to pull off!)

I used to get so annoyed at him following my every move (I swear he was ALWAYS 2 steps behind me bouncing around as if to say "What fun are we going to have now?).
But now every step I take I wish he was there annoying me again.

I used to hate him barking in the middle of the night for NO reason (giving me the fright of my life when I was fast asleep). Now I wish he was back sleeping on my bed and barking like the little maniac he was.

He was so cute when he was fluffy but SO ugly when wet! He looked like a drowned rat after we'd swum in the ocean, he was all fur, so after a swim there was NOTHING to him!

I miss him running along the beach beside me in the mornings. Everyone said "he's a lap dog, you won't be able to walk far with him" but he would run non stop for an hour, get back home and look at me as if to say "Where are we going to run to now?"

He may have been Danielle's dog (below), but he thought he was mine and wanted to spend every second of every day with me - he was SO devoted.

Danielle used to get mad and say "Why does he love YOU so much?" - well, only because I feed him and walk him and play with him and spend all my time with him! He was my shadow and I miss having him here with me.

Only in the last week he started chasing cars occastionally as they drove past our house (we only had 2 other houses on our end of the island, so cars were few and far between) - what on earth was he thinking?? Our front gate was broken and I'd phoned last week to get it fixed.

But he got too close to the neighbors car on Monday morning and died in my arms in seconds - it happened so quickly and was such a shock.

I've cried a river of tears in the last 3 days. I only had my beautiful little Bailey for a year, and even though he often annoyed me like crazy (like when he would start barking at NOTHING when I was in the middle of holding a teleconference!) , he bought so much joy into my life. He was highly intelligent with a very determined personality and incredibly cute - he was a bundle of mischief, fun, happiness, energy, enthusiasm and joy and I will always remember him with much love.

This photo was taken the day before he died - look how happy he looks snuggling up to me. I took him with me to Ray's Health Retreat where he ran riot chasing the bush turkey's and exploring the rainforest. He even went a little bit healthy - eating fresh watermelon with me for breakfast.

I buried him close by on the island - on the vacant block I'm planning on manifesting as my own some day. The one we'd spend hours on - me admiring the view and throwing his rope bone for him to fetch until it got too dark to see any more.

At least I feel he's nearby. In fact I woke up at 2.00am yesterday morning (around the time he'd usually do his insane middle of the night barking trick) and missed my little Bailey so much that I snuck out in my pj's, and went and lay by his grave under the stars talking to him and sobbing my heart out.

Someone once said "We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all."

I miss you and love you little Bailey.

Sandy in Africa

July I flew to Kenya for a safari with Mark Victor Hansen and Bob Allen's Inner Circle, then we travelled to Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. This adventure was extra special to me because I decided at the last minute to take my children, Danielle and Dane with me. I'm so glad I did - even though the trip was very challenging at times, we all had a blast.

Here I am with Danielle and Dane in Nairobi - the night before we begin our trip - and very excited - can you tell?

First day we visited ABC - Abandoned Children's Centre. It was quite heartbreaking to see children that no-body wanted. It's wonderful to see Feed the Children looking after them and we felt like Father Christmas with presents galore. Here's some of the children with their new shoes.

The safari begins! The landscape in Shaba Reserve in Kenya is superb - and the first time I saw a giraffe running in the wild with Shaba Mountain in the background was breathtaking.

There's something about Zebra\'s I just love. Here they are getting cosy.

We're as close as you can get to this elephant. That's me and Mark Victor Hansen in the van.

The Masaii tribes live in poverty, dirt and cow dung (yes, the entire floor of their compound is nothing but fresh clow dung) But they always look so beautiful in their brightly coloured clothes.

We were lucky enough to be in the Serengeti Plains during the migration of the wildebeest. At times we were literally surrounded by animals. Wildebeest running and snorting on one side, a lioness eating one that wasn't quite fast enough, and then trying to drag the dead beast back to its lion cubs. It was truly magnificent - I am so glad my children were there to share it with me.

We had such an adventure - this is one of the little planes that took us to our safari lodges. We even had to buzz the airstrip to scare off the baboons so we could land.

Here's Mark VH with my kids. It was great having Mark there - it was SO COOL to be having the most amazing african adventure AND be networking and brainstorming on how to create even more success in our businesses and lives.

One of our beautiful lodges - this is Finch Hattons (he was immortalised by Karen Blixon in Out of Africa). It was a superb tented safari lodge perched on the edge of a hippo pond. We had to have guards walk us back to our tents at night in case we were attacked by wild animals.

Once again, ignorance is bliss. Here is me, my beautiful kids, Danielle and Dane, Mark Victor Hanson and our safari guide Christopher at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro - ready to conquer the world.

Sunset on Mt. Kilimanjaro - yes, we were above the clouds. It was simply beautiful, and SO cold!

A happy family snap as we get closer to the summit. I have to fess up - I was overcome with altitude sickness from day one. It was hard (6-9 hours climbing a day) I was freezing cold, I constantly felt like throwing up, and I kept getting dizzy. But I knew if I stopped, my children would too and they would miss out on a great experience. So I kept going - and it was worth it - I've now got another great tale to tell about the time I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro with my brave children!

I'm a beach baby and my body is built for the tropics - here I am trying to keep warm. At night I would wear 2 lots of thermal long johns, my thick tracksuit pants, my corduroy jeans, special thermal socks (with heating pads inside) with 2 more pairs of socks. Then I'd put a long sleeved thermal vest, a polo neck jumper, a thermal fleecy jacket, a padded snow vest, a feather down jacket, a scarf, a balaclava, a wollen beanie, gloves, hand warmers and padded gloves. Then I'd climb into my down sleeping bag for a blissful nights sleep. Sounds cosy doesn't it? I guess it would be if I was in a airconditioned chalet with a roaring fire :-) At least that's what I was visualising laying there in my thin nylon tent on the stone cold rock floor at 20 degrees below. The thing I totally love about roughing it is, my appreciation for the little luxuries I sometimes take for granted at home multiplies beyond belief!

Here I am with Danielle and Dane - with the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background.

Happy Birthday To Me!

Don't try this at home! The result of being frugal and changing my own ink cartridges in the printer when I was rushing - do you realise how hard it is to get ink off? I flew to the US the next day wearing a slight tinge of blue!

While in Las Vegas my agent faxed me the contract to have my book translated and published in China. Here's me under the opulent Ritz-Carlton chandelier just after I'd signed the Chinese contract - I was excited!

The great thing about being overseas on your birthday, is you get to celebrate it twice. Here's me on the night of Birthday 1 in Las Vegas.

And here's me on Birthday 2 - in Sydney Australia - and yes, it's a chocolate cake and it's ALL mine :-)

Marvelous May and much to do

Took my beautiful daughter and my staff (who are also my good friends) to the US to attend a seminar in Atlanta - this is us enjoying the break doing what so many girls do best - shopping! That's me, Danielle, Dymphna, my PR manager Harri and my PA Regi.

Hanging with the girls, Regi on the left and Harri on the right, on the Santa Monica pier - it was a bit bright so bought some glasses to cut the glare - they suit me don't you think?

My beautiful daughter Danielle with some of the abundance beads she designs - she'll have a website and be selling world-wide soon.

Meeting Rhonda Byrne - the producer of the Secret when I was in L.A. She's lovely, she's funky (my daughter was SO impressed with her cool clothes) and she's transforming the planet with her amazing movie - The Secret.

While in LA Danielle was determined to see someone famous. She's a great manifestor and we saw beautiful Lindsay Lohan (Herbie the Love Bug) being interviewed; skeletal Teri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives) racing through the airport and Pamela Anderson (ex Baywatch) with the smallest shorts I've ever seen ready for a big night out. Here we are waiting to go into The Jay Leno Show.

Once inside the Jay Leno show (not being a TV watcher I had no idea who he was, but my daughter was excited beyond belief), we were called up on stage and he asked us about these Wildly Wealthy Women from Australia and we gave him a little koala with the Australian flag to wave around. Danielle, Regi, Harri, Jay and me!

Finally got the beautiful rugs from our Peru trip up on my walls. You can see my home office in the background where I do all my work - when I'm not sitting there gazing at the beautiful river.

Rhonda loved my book so much, within weeks of returning from LA she contacted me and I was wisked into their recording studio where I was filmed for the upcoming sequel to The Secret. It's all about attracting money - it will be out next year some time. Here's me after a full day of shooting - it was all over and I was relieved - can you tell?
